Soft Collars

A soft collar is any cervical support made out of foam rubber and are the least restrictive, but most comfortable, in the neck brace family. They are usually covered with a white or flesh colored cotton material, are available in soft, medium or firm density and come in different heights.

Soft collars are available at most drug stores or medical supply stores, over the counter. A good place to look for this type of brace is on E-Bay, thrift stores or 2nd hand store. Also keep checking the ad board on this site or some of the other sites listed in the links section of NBAK.

A good starting point for new "recreational" bracers.
