Hard Collars

A Hard Cervical Collar is any cervical support that is made of a rigid material but is still a collar. Some collars are made out of plastic and others are made out of a softer material with rigid plastic or metal stays.

Hard Collars are more difficult to obtain than there soft counterparts (some may require a prescription from a doctor), however there are still a few you can purchase at most drug stores or a medical supply store, over the counter. A good place to look for this type of brace is on E-Bay, thrift stores or 2nd hand store. Also keep checking the ad board on this site or some of the other sites listed in the links section of NBAK.
