CTLSO stands for Cervicothoracic Lumbosacral Orthosis. In English, it means a full chin to hips body brace. CTLSO's are normaly used to treat injuries of the lower cervical (neck) and upper thoracic(back) region of the spine. There are many varations of this brace but they usually consists of some sort of body brace, either manufactured out of aluminum, steel or a custom molded plastic body jacket with a cervical extention (usually a SOMI, 2-Poster or 4-Poster) attached to the top.
CTLSO are also not easy to come by since most of them are custom, however, some of the orthopedic supply shops carry a few models that are prefabricated, but you will need a prescription to buy one or have a good contact. A good place to look for this type of brace is on E-Bay, thrift stores or 2nd hand store. Also keep checking the ad board on this site or some of the other sites listed in the links section of NBAK.
